I will personally never go to Stillwater neurology again and would recommend others re-evaluate their decision to use their service. I believe Integrity is a very important quality for individuals to possess, which includes honesty.
had to cancel some appointments because I was out of state visiting my brother before he was deployed overseas, and I kept extending my trip. I was told that they "completely understood". I called to schedule an appointment and was told that my insurance had "locked" me out of their office because I had cancelled too many times. I called my insurance company and they informed me that that was not true, that they had more than likely locked me out. I called back and spoke to the office manager who informed me that even though I was told they understood why I cancelled my appointments, that Dr. McCoy would not see me anymore and that cancelling my appointments, (even though they were cancelled in advance), "disrupted" their office and that they had trouble rescheduling. The fact that they lied to me is absolutely unbelievable. That, on top of the fact that Dr.McCoy couldn't even remember me or my medical history, absolutely appalls me. I didn't cancel just to "disrupt" their office, I cancelled because I was out of state visiting my baby brother who was being sent overseas to protect people like them. I am absolutely disgusted by them.
I highly recommend seeing Dr. Wade in Tulsa. He is very kind and understanding and remembers EVERYTHING about his patients, even their personal lives.
We love stillwater neurolog! Dr. Wedlake always gives us his undivided attention. He takes his time with us and we never feel rushed.
Went to see Dr. Wedlake a few months ago for hemiplegic migraines. Visited with him, explained what symptoms I had been experiencing and we figured out a course of action. Dr. Wedlake is awesome! Very friendly, enthusiastic about his job, and takes the time to listen to his patients. He was also understanding and friendly with my three kids (4, 8, 9), who needed to tag-a-long that day. When I had a reaction to the medication, his nurse was very knowledgeable and got me off them and in to see the doctor quickly. We found a new option and things are great! Overall, I am thrilled with his staff and Dr. Wedlake himself. I look forward to my next appointment next month.
The guys who run this place are a class act. Punctual, honest, responsible, and committed. They are involved in the community and want to do what is best for Stillwater!
