My family and I had sat down to eat and part way through our meal my daughter let's out one of those "I bit my tounge" growls. Actually she had a band on her braces come loose and she bit down on it. I looked at it and said we need to get you to the ortho clinic ASAP. I called and called from that night to the middle of the next day with no response to my calls to their emergency number. Needless to say I was hacked! I finally thought to myself call her dentist and see if he can get ahold of the ortho Dr. I called and Dr Metcalf answered the phone. I told him the situation and he told me I am headed back and can meet you at the office and I can do a temp fix until you get her into ortho on mon. My wife took her and her fixed it. When she went to pay him he would not let her pay him! Or agree for the office to send out a bill.
