In my case I knew exactly what I wanted and had an idea from online vendors of what was out there (stones, settings, etc.). However, the reviews for the online vendors showed terrible customer service and long waits with associated customer anxiety. I much prefer to support local business when possible so I approached Brad Jackson. He was very straightforward and easy to deal with. His prices were very good and I would have a local business I could deal with instead of some mystery vendor. He had several certified stones and the one we picked is really impressive (4-C's) for the price. The ring is spectacular and she is very pleased. We will do business with Jackson Diamonds again.
My husband bought my engagement here, and it is beautiful. I was very disappointed with the customer service here, however, when browsing for wedding band options. The salesman I spoke to was trying to encourage me to select diamonds on my wedding band. At one point I expressed that I think I would prefer a solid rose gold band to which he said, “but aren’t you worth it?” (referring to the diamond band). It is safe to say we took our business elsewhere following this.
I love Jackson Jewelers. They would never let you wear around something that's quality isn't 100% there. They are fantastic about repairs if you're rough with your jewelry like me. I think it's very important that the selection isn't overwhelming or too sparse, and I feel Jackson's is just right. They also have a nice selection of on trend jewelry, which I think stands out from a lot of others. You can find beautiful, unique pieces. Their staff is also very informed (I especially enjoy Katy) and you could say they welcome you like family.
Jackson always has the friendliest faces to help with whatever you need. I love the jewelry but the boutique also draws me in. Always feels nice to shop local, especially when it's with such a great group of people and great quality work!
If you are looking for a custom ring this is the place to go. After speaking with businesses all over town Jackson's was the only location where I spoke with someone who knew everything there was to know and asked the right questions to get me on track for designing my custom engagement ring. Brad was patient whenever something was not quite right and generally great throughout the whole process. I wouldn't hesitate to choose Jackson's again.
