Decor is very nice for a hotel in Stillwater. I didn't stay so I can say anything about the rooms. Nice place that is sort of removed from the hustle of the university. Still has highway traffic though.
Very friendly service and comfortable beds (as always with Hampton Inn). Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Nice pool, but no key needed for entry, a few non-guests showed up to swim while we were there, but not a huge issue. Very convenient to OSU campus and sports facilities.
Gorgeous hotel. Clean and proper room. Quiet. Professional, friendly staff...all of them...love this hotel and plan to return!
The hotel is good; however, the back parking lot by the pool is poorly lit. They do not have security cameras around the property. I say this because I had someone steal random items out of my truck while parked by the pool. I'm 99.9% sure I locked my truck as per habit of locking and checking my doors every time. This led me to think that maybe someone on the cleaning staff used my keyless entry on my keys when they had access to my room. Who knows ... basically I'm unsatisfied with the safety measures of the parking lot as I've witnessed teenagers using it for skate-boarding and a couple vagrants passing through. I notified the front desk that there are people trolling the parking lot and that they should try and rev up their security.
Definitely one of the better hotel options in town. You get what you pay for. Money well spent. Convenient location with plenty nearby restaurants. Great breakfast that is very well maintained by caring staff.
