Also, their driver's license testing process is a joke. They don't take appointments, so the only way you can make sure to get a slot that day is to stand in line at 6 am. It really sucks for people that live in rural areas around Stillwater. They have to drive an hour to wait in line for 2 hours just to hope they get a slot that day. Imagine all the work their parents have to miss just to do that.
Absolutely rude employees. They have no concern for the public whatsoever. They seem to get off on holding citizens for hours on end. I showed up at 6:30 and found a line of 30 people. I waited hours only to be told near 11 that they were leaving for lunch, and they didn't return until 1:30. I then waited until 4:45 at which point they kicked me and 10 others out. Their processing speed was roughly 1 person per hour. They only ever had one booth open, and the employee would take twenty minutes to process one person, and then play on Facebook for 40. No concern for the public and no oversight. I took off from work for nothing. Drove to Shawnee a week later and was served in under half an hour. The management of this facility should be criminal.
Also, it what universe is it useful or helpful for a city to put their testing facility on one side of town and the place where you have to go to get your actual license on the other side of town. So stupid.
I had a great experience here years ago. However, NOONE will ever answer the phones during operating hours. Just trying to set up an appointment since we drive so far and they have been out of test the last 2 times we have come. Can you please answer the phone?
Awful. I waited for hours only to be told information that contradicted the information I was told when I contacted their central office in OKC. So I couldn't do what I came there to do. It was an infuriating waste of my time.
It would be faster to drive to okc wait in line and drive back than it is to go into this sorry excuse for a dps office. Don't waste you're time here.
Our government at work. Absolute waste of time. Tried for months to get a driver's test and you must queue for hours before opening for a spot. As in...6am or before to get in. Waste of time. Schedule your test elsewhere.

My son went to Cowboy Driving School and applied to take his test there, too. It was quick, efficient, trustworthy, and while it cost a little bit more, it saved SO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT!!!
